Bobby Pittman, MD
Dr. Pittman joined the Medical Staff at Medina Regional Hospital in March of 2010. He is a native of New Mexico and received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry from New Mexico State University. He completed medical school at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, NM in 1998. He then went to Springfield, Missouri to complete his residency at Cox Family Practice Residency Program. During his residency, he received training in multiple elective procedural skills necessary to provide complete care in a rural community. He is trained to perform upper/lower endoscopy, routine outpatient and inpatient procedures, C-sections, and an array of obstetric and gynecological procedures. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. Pittman has been married to his college sweetheart, Cindy, for fifteen years. They have two children, 6-year-old son Mason, and 9-year-old daughter Rene. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as outdoor activities and travel. Dr. and Mrs. Pittman are both pilots and enjoy anything to do with airplanes. “We look forward to joining our new community and getting to know the people of Castroville and Medina County,” said Dr. Pittman.
