John Meyer, MD, Chief of Staff
 Chief of Staff Dr. Meyer joined the hospital’s medical staff in 1975. He is board certified in Family Practice and is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Texas Tech Medical School in El Paso.
The Meyer family has served the Hondo community's medical needs since 1906 beginning with Dr. John’s grandfather and continuing with his father in 1936. He and his wife Gail are very proud to see their daughter, Emily Meyer, MD, following in his footsteps. Dr. Emily Meyer joined the Hondo practice in August 2007.
