Position Title: Medical Technologist - Full-Time (Day)

| Position Description: | Performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease by performing the following duties: Conducts chemical analyses of body fluids such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid, to determine presence of normal and abnormal components; Studies blood cells, their numbers, and morphology; Performs blood group, type, and compatibility tests for transfusion purposes; Analyzes test results and enters findings in computer; Performs quality control studies to ensure accuracy of clinical data; Performs routine preventative maintenance on assigned instruments and equipment according to established schedule and procedure; Verifies instrument functioning by checking and calibrating specific lab instruments and documents data; Records on instrument logs any repairs, replacement, and maintenance needed of equipment; and Trains and supervises students. |

| The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience. |
