Patient Rooms & Privacy
Adult patients may request to have 1 visitor spend the night with them. To protect the privacy of others, the patient must make arrangements with the Admitting Office for a private room. Visitors may sleep on unoccupied beds at the discretion of the unit nurse manager or charge nurse. Patients under the age of 12 years are required to have an adult with them 24 hours a day.
Emergency Room Visitors
- One visitor per patient if Emergency Room status is conducive to accomodate nonessential people.
- No visitors/children under 12 allowed in ER patient treatment areas.
OB/Maternity Wing Visitors
- Spouse or Family member is encouraged to spend the night.
- There is no limitation on age of siblings visiting mother and newborn.
