The following physicians are independent contractors with admitting privileges at Medina Regional Hospital and provide services at the clinics in the Medina Healthcare System.

The Medical Staff of Medina Regional Hospital consists of seven board-certified Family Practice physicians who also provide primary patient care at the Medical Clinics of Hondo, Devine and Castroville. There are also four general surgeons on active staff. Local podiatrists Michael Langlois, DPM and Bhavesh J. Shah, DPM of the South Texas Foot Institute (210-928-3668), are on the courtesy staff and performs outpatient podiatry surgery and procedures at Medina Regional Hospital.

The Surgical and Specialty Clinic, located at 602 31st Street in Hondo, houses the general surgeon's office and provides exam facilities for numerous specialty physicians on a scheduled basis. These specialists include ophthalmology, urology, ear, nose and throat (ENT), plastic surgery, nephrology, rheumatology, cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, orthopedic surgery, gynecology and Beltone hearing services.
