New Phone System Coming Soon

New Phone System is on the Way

We realize you may be experiencing long wait times when calling Medina Healthcare System; we do apologize as we know this can be incredibly inconvenient. We hear your frustrations and we feel them too. We are relieved to announce upgrades to our phone systems are in progress. The new system will be up and running by September of 2021.

In the meantime, the best way to communicate with us is through the patient portal, My Care Corner. The patient portal allows you to message your doctor regarding any questions you may have, this includes: general communication, refill requests, referral requests, appointment requests, and cancelling or rescheduling appointments.

Once you are logged in (whether that is through the internet browser or smart app), you can message the doctor by pressing the red plus sign.

Once your message is sent please give us 24 hours to respond. Depending on the app settings or web browser it may not send you a notification, please continue to check back to your messages.

  1. "I do not have a patient portal account"

If you do not have a patient portal account you can request an invitation to join by emailing patientportal@medinahospital.net.

  1. "I have an account but forgot my password/username"

If you have an account but are unable to log in, you can request a password reset by emailing patientportal@medinahospital.net or by clicking the “reset password” button on the log in page.

  1. What the does the new phone system have to offer?

Our new state-of-the-art phone system will include improved call routing, multi-language queues, and call-back options. Rather than waiting on hold until we answer, you can leave your call back number and we will call you when it is your turn. No more waiting for extended periods of time for our operator to answer. The new phone system will include specific phone lines for Devine and Castroville. We are also hiring additional call center staff to answer your calls more quickly.
