Responsible for the successful management and operation of medical clinic to include one or more specialty disciplines and/or clinic sites. Provides physicians with resources necessary to meet needs of patients and meet the financial objectives of the clinic.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Establishes clinic policies and procedures in cooperation with other hospital officials. Interprets and administers personnel policies and provides for training program.

Reviews clinic activities and recommends changes in, or better utilization of, facilities, services, and staff.

Establishes and maintains work schedules and assignments of resident professional staff members.

Prepares and submits budget, records, reports, and statistical data to the Clinic

Administrator and/or other hospital departments.

Meets with personnel of other local institutions and organizations to promote public health and educational services.

Oversees operation of clinic and recommends procedures, treatments, or other course of action to assist medical staff.

Assist in retrieving medical records and work on compiling medical records requests.

Reviews all types of medical records for completeness via electronic audits.

Resolves record deficiencies in collaboration with the HIM department.

Responds to all requests for information from files according to established policies and procedures.

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Associates degree and/or a combination of over 5 years experience in a health related or managerial related field will be considered. Valid license to practice as an LVN or higher preferred.
