Occupational Therapy Services Available at Medina Regional Hospital

Medina Healthcare System recently added Occupational Therapy (OT) services in the Rehabilitation Department. This provides additional choices for healthcare through the Medina Healthcare System. Jillian Blum, a graduate of Texas Tech Health Science Center, joined the system in 2017 on a full-time basis. Ms. Blum works with outpatients and swing bed patients who receive therapy during an extended hospital stay for rehabilitation.
“I’m very happy that I chose to work in a rural area. There is definitely a demand for occupational therapy. Medina Healthcare System receives OT referrals for patients of all ages and diagnoses, and I’m excited to be part of the rehab team,” says Ms. Blum. She and her husband enjoy the country life and are glad to be a part of the community.
