Medina Healthcare System welcomes Peripheral Vascular Associates to the Specialty Clinic

Janice Simons, CEO of Medina Healthcare System, is pleased to announce the addition of Peripheral Vascular Associates (PVA), to the Specialty Clinic located at 602 31st Street in Hondo. "We are pleased to offer the community local access to the largest single specialty vascular surgery group in Texas,” said Ms. Simons.  PVA has been in practice since 1975 and offers a complete range of peripheral vascular surgery services including dialysis grafts, carotid endarterectomy, thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and lower extremity revascularization bypass grafts.

Known as the "Doctors of Arteries and Veins," PVA's goal is to work closely with the Medina Healthcare System family care providers in the management of any vascular problems, to provide education to the community, and to prevent future problems in those at risk.

"We are committed to providing complete and comprehensive state of the art care to our patients. We strive to live up to our reputation as doctors of arteries and veins and continue to individualize the care for each patient. Our ability to practice evidence based medical care while considering the circumstances unique to every patient has made us the leaders in vascular care in Texas, and we are excited to be a part of the medical community in Medina County." States Dr. Mark Wengrovitz, board certified vascular surgeon with PVA since 1996.

PVA will be in Hondo on the first, third, and fifth Fridays of each month.  For more information please call (210) 614-7414 or visit the Peripheral Vascular Associates website at www.pvasatx.com.
