Medina Regional Hospital offers A Matter of Balance Classes beginning Sept. 5th

Medina Healthcare System will host an eight week program entitled A Matter of Balance beginning on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. The classes will be held on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Administration Building Conference Room.
Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels. The program follows the volunteer lay leader model, utilizing volunteer coaches to teach the two-hour sessions. Louise Abdullah, CNA at Medina Regional Hospital will lead the class, with assistance from Kimberly Beasley, AACOG Health & Wellness Specialist.
